Remove a listing

We republish job notices from newspapers, official notifications and the web. If something here shouldn't be — it's yours and you didn't want it republished, the vacancy has closed, the details are wrong, or it's misleading — we will take it down or correct it.

What to include

The more of this you give us, the faster it goes:

1. The link to the listing on this site (copy it from your browser's address bar).
2. Who you are and your connection to it — the employer, the person named in it, an authorised representative, or a reader who spotted a problem.
3. Why it should come down — closed vacancy, wrong details, published without permission, misleading, a scam, personal information, or a copyright issue.
4. How to reach you — an email or phone we can reply on if we need to check something.

What happens next

• We aim to acknowledge within 2 working days.
• Clear cases — a closed vacancy, an employer asking for their own advert to be removed, anything unlawful or a scam — are usually removed the same day, before any discussion about who is right.
• Where a request is contested, we may ask for proof that you are who you say you are, or that you hold the rights you claim.
• We will tell you what we did.

Employers: your own advertisement

If you placed or own the advertisement and want it gone, just say so — we do not require a legal reason. Email us from an address at your organisation's domain where possible; it saves a round of verification.

Removal is not an admission

We remove content on request as a matter of good practice. Doing so is not an admission that the content was unlawful, inaccurate or infringing, and does not waive any right or defence available to us.
